  • When the Soul Listens by Jan Johnson
    Mondays 1:00 - 2:30 pm / Starting September 11
    Sue Allen's home / Cost: $20
“Our spiritual life is not one slice in a loaf of bread with others slices representing family, work, church, neighborhood, and so on. Our life with God is the leaven permeating the entire loaf. And when we ignore God's presence in all of life, our soul weakens and we shrink from being all we were created to be." (151) In When the Soul Listens, Jan teaches us how to differentiate God's voice from the voice of our ego, from worldly pressures, from committee members in our head pushing their agenda. When we train our souls to listen for the voice of our great, good, guiding God, we will sense the LORD's presence permeating our entire loaf of daily bread.

Tuesdays

  • Evening Banquet Bible Study
    Entrusted by Beth Moore
    Tuesdays 7:00 – 8:30 pm / Starting September 12
    Room 308 / Cost $35
We were never meant to take this journey of faith alone or in secret. God has entrusted us with the great and mighty gift of the gospel, something too precious and life-giving to keep to ourselves.

Beth will encourage you to guard what God has entrusted to you, further His kingdom by sharing Christ with others, and pour into future generations just as Paul once mentored Timothy. Because in this journey of joy and hardship, we need each other to stay the course and live a life of faithfulness.

Thursdays

  • The Well Bible Study
    Respectable Sins by Jerry Bridges
    Thursdays 7:00 – 8:30 am / Starting September 14
    Room 303 / Cost $15
Have Christians become so preoccupied with “major” sins that we have lost sight of our need to deal with more subtle sins? Navigator author Jerry Bridges addresses the “acceptable” sins that we tend to tolerate in ourselves, including pride and anger. He goes to the heart of the matter, exploring our feelings of shame and grief and opening a new door to God’s forgiveness and grace. Travel down the road of spiritual formation with Jerry and discover your true identity as a loved child of God.
  • Boundaries by Dr. Henry Cloud and Dr. John Townsend
    Thursdays 9:30 – 11:00 am / Starting September 14
    Room 308 / Cost: $20
Trying harder isn't working. Being nice out of fear isn't working. Taking responsibility for others (kids or spouse, friends or parents) isn't working. Empowered by our conversational relationship with God, we learn to say "yes" to the LORD’s priorities and "no" to competing clutter. To develop the fine art of personal boundary setting, please sign up for this meaningful, discussion-oriented class. You and your loved ones will be glad you did.
