  • The Gift of Being Yourself by David Benner
    Mondays 1:00 - 2:30 pm / Starting January 9
    Sue Allen's home / Cost: $20
Benner is a Christian psychologist whose primary premise is the more intimately we know God, the more we will understand our true identity and the more we know our true selves, the more we will see God at work in our daily lives. We are all wired differently, designed uniquely by our Creator. Why not discover the gift of being your true self and enjoy fulfilling your God-given purpose?

Tuesdays

  • The Other Side of Chaos: Breaking Through When Life is Breaking Down by Margaret Silf's
    Tuesdays 1:00 - 2:30 pm / Starting January 10
    Sue Allen's home / Cost: $20
One life phase breaks through to the next. Single to married. Childless to parent to empty nest. Stable job to unemployed. Enjoying health to suddenly sick. An uprooting move from there to here. Transitions can be chaotic, exposing the scary gap between "no longer" and "not yet." How do we break through to a deeper level of trust in God when our old comfort zone is breaking down? Sharing a simple-but-profound writing style, Silf offers memorable, down-to-earth analogies to spring board us into meaningful discussions week after week.
  • Evening Banquet Bible Study
    Tuesdays 7:00 – 8:30 pm / Starting January 10
    Room 308 / Cost $35
This semester join us for two powerful New Testament studies, The Armor of God by Priscilla Shirer and The Gospel of Mark: The Jesus We’re Aching For by Lisa Harper.  We begin with Shirer’s, The Armor of God teaching us how to suit up, stand firm and be victorious when we face battles in our lives.  Then through Harper’s study we will discover what it means to be recipients of Jesus’ excessive grace and the very reason for His all-consuming passion.

Monthly

  • Women’s Winter/Spring Listening Groups
Often we hear God’s voice better when we listen attentively together. In small groups of eight women, we gather in the womb of Sue Allen's basement, drinking in the living water of holy scripture, maturing in the habit of everyday prayer. Sipping together for one hour each month, we experience the process of God’s living water becoming a spring within us, welling up to eternal life in the earthiness of our daily lives. Winter/Spring groups meet monthly January through April on select Wednesdays (8:00-9:00 am) and select Thursdays (1:30-2:30 pm).

    2nd Wednesday 8:00-9:00 am (1/11, 2/8, 3/8, 4/13)

    2nd Thursday 1:30-2:30 pm (1/12, 2/9, 3/9, 4/13)

    Last Wednesday 8:00-9:00 am (1/25, 2/22, 3/29, 4/26)

    Last Thursday 1:30-2:30 pm (1/26, 2/23, 3/30, 4/27)
